Information Systems Manager

Robert Matthews is an Information Systems Manager at FASTER and spent 35+ years at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). He has extensive experience using SAS software for database management, statistical analyses, and data entry systems. He has extensive experience managing Microsoft Windows Servers and was been the system administrator responsible for managing the file servers and network infrastructure for the PharmacoEpidemiology and Economic Research (PEER) Group at UAB. He also was responsibility for managing large Medicare and Medicaid databases housed on the network and has been a co-author on numerous journal articles ranging from the epidemiology of osteoporosis and a variety of other outcomes studies of Medicare beneficiaries and other populations.
